At Oake Manor we like to keep people around Taunton and Somerset happy and entertained as well as exercised and well-fed, which is why we offer reasonably-priced live music events with a buffet – or on special occasions a 5 course dinner – on most weekends of the year.

Tribute Bands & Tribute Acts
Everyone loves good tribute bands and tribute acts, and our Catering Manager goes out of his way to choose the best of them…it’s a good job they love playing at Oake Manor, where the atmosphere is buzzing.
A popular Live Music venue in Somerset, where you can be well entertained by tributes to the likes of ABBA, Queen, Take That, Elvis and more. Also, bands playing 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s music. Our nights include food and a disco, all from a very reasonable £15.

Special Events
And because we love a party, any excuse will do – a Comedy Dinner, Murder Mystery Dinner, Quiz Nights, Music Bingo and St Patrick’s Day celebrations, and of course, Christmas are all events where we welcome the public.
Some of our most special events are those that we organise and run for other groups and Oake Manor is a special place for school leavers’ Proms.
The November Bonfire Night is a lot of fun: we provide the venue (and the pile of wood for burning) cost free, while a local school provides the fireworks and runs the evening: they keep the entry fees, turning a nice profit for the School PTA.
