This month we are honouring Jan King!
Jan is Oake Manor’s Managing Director Mike King’s wife. This month Jan has undertaken a massive task by cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Jan made this epic 1050 mile journey in aid of Peter Alliss Masters Powered Wheelchair Crusade. Every year our Club Captains choose a charity, Peter Alliss Masters is Richard and Jane’s charity for this year. They spoke about the charity on their first official event as Captains and Jan was so moved by the way they spoke about it she wanted to help!
Jan is has done extremely well in her journey battling through wind and rain! But she has enjoyed every single bit of it! Jan truly is inspirational to have undertaken this epic task! Especially as she is 73!
This month we have donated the usual £100 prize to Peter Alliss Masters as sponsorship for Jan King.
